Acne, Eczema and Psoriasis skin healing

If you’re new here, welcome!  I’m Claire, founder of The Lifestyle Circle.  The Lifestyle Circle is my little corner of the internet where I write about my experiences of acne, eczema and psoriasis.

I’ve had all 3 skin conditions at various times in my life.  In the 10 years that I struggled with my skin, I learned that my lifestyle did not cause my acne, eczema and psoriasis.  Despite what well-meaning but ill-informed people often told me, it wasn’t that I ate too much chocolate, that I had a takeaway on a Friday night, or that I wore too much make-up.

But I also learned in those 10 years that my lifestyle was a key part of the solution.  By changing my habits, my overall health and wellbeing improved, my skin healed and it has stayed clear.

To me, lifestyle is wider than the food I eat or don’t eat.  A healthy lifestyle means focusing on my food choices, my mind, my body and my environment.  When I have a sense of balance in each of those areas I’m happier, healthier and my skin stays in good condition. When I’m out of alignment in any of those areas I definitely don’t feel my best.

Through The Lifestyle Circle, I now work with other people that are unhappy with their skin. People that want to change their lifestyle but struggle to start and stick with the habit changes they want to make. I help them to make new, healthier habits that they can maintain long term.

When you suffer from a skin condition, you often feel helpless, as though you have no control over your body.  You can hold yourself back from doing what you really want to do because of your skin.  You put limitations in place because of the physical or emotional pain you feel.

I know from my own experience that taking charge of your lifestyle empowers you to move forward in life.  You reclaim your power giving you the confidence you need to transform your life with or without acne, eczema and psoriasis.

Looking for support to heal your skin? Here’s how I can help you.
