The Lifestyle Circle is my internet haven and a space to share my thoughts on wellbeing that’s workable in our increasingly busy lives.
This website began some years back as a creative outlet alongside my corporate job. Unlike many corporate escapees, I loved my job and made the change because it better suited my family circumstances at the time. I now work full-time as a writer.
A lot of my writing covers lifestyle and skin health. That’s because I suffered from acne, eczema and psoriasis for 10 years. After many pills, lotions and other questionable potions failed me, I gave up on healing my skin and focused on becoming the healthiest version of me. Of course, that’s when I stumbled across the very lifestyle changes my body needed to heal my skin.
My experience has taught me that there’s a genuine connection between what goes on inside my body and what is reflected on my skin. My skin has now been clear for years, but that experience stayed with me and it’s the lens through which I approach wellbeing. If you’re struggling with your skin, I share what has worked for me across this site. I know some of it will work for you, too.
With health and wellbeing, my philosophy is to be curious and trust my own experience. I urge you to do the same.
Whether it’s a style of eating, an exercise regime or a spiritual practice, we’re all different and only you will know what’s working for you based on how you feel. Trust that feeling.
